General Questions

  • We provide residential, commercial, industrial, and facilities maintenance electrical services, including installations, repairs, upgrades, testing, and compliance works. We also provide heating and cooling solutions and maintenance.

  • Yes. All work is completed by fully licensed electricians authorised to work in Canberra and the ACT.

  • Yes. We carry full public liability and workers compensation insurance.

  • We operate Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm. Out-of-hours work can be negotiated for commercial and facilities maintenance clients.

  • Emergency and out-of-hours support may be arranged for commercial and facilities maintenance clients by prior agreement.

  • We service all Canberra suburbs and surrounding ACT regions.

  • Yes. All work is completed in accordance with Australian Standards and ACT regulations.

  • We charge $198 callout. We have a schedule of fixed prices for all standard services. For all non-standard services including fault finding, we charge hourly at $242 (including GST) per hour for 2 technicians.

  • If you have had an electrical shock, contact emergency services. After you are safe, Genesis Electrical can conduct an electrical assessment and make the property safe.
